Manang’s Chicken – Ang Bagong Fried Chicken ng Pinoy
owned and operated by Giabella Foods Corporation, a 100% Filipino owned company. Although established only in 2010, it is part of the MMG Group of Companies whose business range in various industries from logistics (trucking, customas brokering, freight forwarding, warehousing), commercial and industries property leasing, financing, fuel retail and cosmetics retail and distribution. MMG Group has been in business for over 35 years.

Jill is a lawyer and a certified public accountant by profession. She graduated with a degree in BS Accounting from Santa Clara University before joining the accounting firm KPMG in Mountain View, California. In 2002, Jill decided to leave the United States for the Philippines wherein she obtained her law degree with honors in the Ateneo de Manila School of Law before joining the family business in 2008. Her career in the food business was unexpected and began only as a weekend hobby selling fried chicken in weekend markets. Encouraged by the consistent positive reviews of her market customers, she decided to enter the mainstream food industry and opened the first Manang’s Chicken branch in Ortigas.
Chief Operating Officer
Jen is the head of Giabella Food Corporation’s commissary division and in-charge of the research and development (R&D) of Manang’s Chicken’s food products. She is a trained chef holding a Grande Diplome in Cuisine and Pastry Arts from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France and apprentices with Guy Savoy, a Michelin-starred restaurant also in Paris. She then moved to San Francisco, California and worked with Chef Ronald Passot at La Folie, another Michelin-starred restaurant. Jen obtained her Management and Economics from Saint Mary’s College of California.
